Did You Miss the Boat?

When the Spirit came at Pentecost, those gathered and waiting were changed.  They were already saved, but now they were changed.  Really changed!

Their fears now became boldness.  Their carnal thoughts became spiritual.  Their desire for living in this world changed to living in His kingdom.  Their sin was cast out by the inflowing life of Christ.  Defeat became victory.  Weakness became strength.

In other words, everything changed.

Just like you and me and all the people we have ever known in church, right?
