Goodbye Mr. Yellow Brick Road

Sir Elton John now states that Jesus was gay.  Really?  So much for the Madman Across the Water.

ABC News reports:  

In an interview with U.S. magazine, Parade, the 62-year-old musician said, "I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems.  On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him.  Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving.  I don't know what makes people so cruel.  Try being a gay woman in the Middle East - you're as good as dead." *

And so, we go from the plight of a gay woman in the Middle East to the morphed view that Jesus himself was gay. 

Just remember, my friend, that Hell is an unbearably hot place... and eternity is a very long time.  You're 62.  Life doesn't last forever.
